The first thing you need to do is find the set of ranks you wish to use.

You can see the complete list here

For this guide we will be using the heart ranks found on this page

Now goto

admin panel -- 2. General -- Ranks

You should now see a screen like this

By clicking on add new rank you will see a screen like this.

Fill in the details you want

Rank Title: The name of the rank
Set as Special Rank Yes No (set to yes mean they will always display the same image no matter how many posts they have, this is mainly used for Admins And Moderators, Normal members should not be set to yes.)
Minimum Posts: Enter the number of posts you want that person to reach before they display this rank,, leave blank for 0
Rank Image This is where you enter the path to the rank.

Path to ranks

If you look below, you will see a set of rank images found in the available. rank images thread as posted above.

At the top of each set of ranks you will see the beginning of the path, in this case it is

ranks/Coeur/

Now look at the beginning of each image, you should see the remainder of the path, for this example it is

heart0.gif

So our final rank path is

ranks/Coeur/heart0.gif

Now click on submit.

Now when you look at the rank screen, you will see the new rank there.

You must repeat these steps for each addition rank you want.
