To find your forums IP address using ping, following these steps:

Step one

On your computer click on

Start then Run

Step two

In the Open box, enter cmd (or command, if you wish). Click OK.

Step three

At the prompt, enter ping followed by your domain name.

So for example, if i wanted to find the ping address of this forum i would type

ping howtodoit.myfreeforum.org (please note you do not type in www. or http:// just the forum name)

Now click enter on your keyboard, If done correctly then you should see this

And there you will see your forums ip address.

In this example it is shown highlighted 64.38.58.178
