Posted: Wed Jan 02, 2008 2:03 pm Post subject: Transfer Cash (Need Cash Mod Hack Installed)
This guide is for the transfer Cash mod which works along side the cash Mod.
To enable this hack to work you must have installed the Cash Mod Hack found HERE
The point of this hack is to allow members to donate money form one member to another, as long as they have the funds they can donate money to each other.
Please remember to use the Editor account before making any template changes
Second you must have all ready a template you can edit.
Ok all that done you now goto Your admin panel --- 3. Styles --- Portal Settings
You will now see a screen that looks like this
If you do not see the portals named Xcash then Please go to the support forum and request admin adds them for you. (Please check properly first before requesting.)
Click On Xcash
You now see a screen that looks something like this.
Fill in the details to suit your needs. You can copy what i have in the picture this will work, or read the guide in the spoiler.
Spoiler:
Field name = Transfer cash(Its best to leave this but you can change if you wish) Displayed title = Bank (you can Change this to what you want) Topic display position= Under Avatar (Change this to suit you, or if you want to add it in yourself then leave as none, and follow the tips at the bottom of this guide.) Profile Display = Works as above but this time shows in the members profile screen Display Text= this will be the text that is shown on the link you click Display Image = cash.jpg (leave blank unless you want to show a picture link rather than a text link. (example at the bottom of this guide)
XProfile field= This must be the same as the name of your cash mod, for example if you followed the cash mod guide and called it CASH then this must be CASH Action This should be set as GIVECASH
Image Link
You must upload an image to your template and then just enter the name of the image for example cash.jpg
Now in the image to display box you would just add the name of your image for example cash.jpg
Now click Update.
And that is the basic guide on how to set up the transfer cash hack.
The guide below is for advanced users that wish to display the link or image else where.
Now you have two main places where This can appear.
Goto admin panel --- 3. Styles --- Edit Templates/Logos -- the template you wish to edit (EG myff_howtodoit1)--- Submit
Now look at the top in the area marked Choose Forum template/javascript/css File to Edit use the drop down bar and find the correct file
