To Make A Welcome Text Line Like I have HERE Is Very Simple This Is HOWTODOIT

Please remember to use the Editor account before making any template changes

Second you must have all ready a template you can edit.

If you have not done this please read HOWTODOIT

Ok all that done you now goto Your Admin Panel --Styles Admin--Edit Templates/Logos

Now open up the template you wish to edit.

Ok now you need to find overall_header.tpl

Ok now place the macro where you want it to appear the macro for this is
Code:
{USERNAME}
so you can just add
Code:
{USERNAME}
where you want it to appear.

If you want to welcome them more then you can add a welcome message like below

Code:
Welcome To HOWTODOIT I Hope You Enjoy Your Stay "{USERNAME}"


If you would like it like i have as bold then i used the standard header tag of

<h3> </h3>
of course you can change this to be one more suited to your forum.

So my finished code in my overall_header.tpl looks like this (remember not all template codes are the same so my code may look different to yours) I placed my code straight after my logo code.
