Buffer Under-run Error
This is an error that occurs when the data transfer from the PC cannot keep up with the speed of writing to the disc. The data is stored in a buffer (an area of main memory set aside for temporary storage) before it is written to the disc. This error means the buffer becomes empty causing interruption in the writing and usually this is due to the lack of power of the CPU. This problem can be avoided by the following methods, Turn off the programs resident in memory such as Screen Saver, System Monitor, Anti-Virus and so on.
Reduce the writing speed. (x4 => x2 => x1)
Reboot your PC before writing to the disc.
agment your HDD to reduce data access time.
tivate the Power Management tool.
fy the recording method from the HDD by creating image files on the HDD before recording.
In addition, using programs for packet writing will solve this problem since the data is written in small 64KB packets.
